The hat made out of newspaper grabs the eye of the onlooker and is creative. The shirt has a screen print of Times Square.

Mood
The famous Mood fabric store! I was so excited to go! The wait was finally over. This is an iconic store because it is featured in the Project Runway show. Many are considering this a must see destination once arriving to New York because of the television exposure. I could spend hours in this store. In the show the designers only have a half hour to pick the fabric they want and that probably feels like a lot less because their minds are racing! There is so much to look at. I love the selection.

So Good
I loved this store. When I walked in I was like, "wow" I just wanted to look at everything and take pictures of everything. The presentation was so good and the store definitely knows how to draw the costumer base in!

Ancient Fashion
Ancient fashion at the MET, Metropolitan Museum of Art. The earrings made way back when do not look that different than products made today. Technology changes but some things are still very similar.
Why did American museums decide to be designed in a Romanesque way like the MET? Many thought this style set the standard, the ideal museum style. In more current museums they are not made like this and there is room for discussion and challenging ideas. At museums like the MET there really is not any challenging nor discussion of the art observed. The Romanesque design is not only the 'ideal' in museum design but also fashion design.

The Renegade Craft Fair
This was a fun event to go to! :D I had a great time shopping! I loved seeing the creativity all the vendors had to offer. All of the products were made by the vendors. There was clothing, accessories, home goods, and stationary. The shirts had unique motifs...one in particular referenced Andy Warhol's work.
