Walk of Fame

One of the things I had looked forward to seeing in New York.
Created in 2000 to honor American fashion designers, this is the only permanent monument of American fashion in the world. This is located in the Garment district, this area in New York stretches between 5th and 9th avenue, 34th and 42th street

Men's

I like the vintage and patriotic style of this boutique above.
The store below had some vintage things while keeping the rest modern.
(Two stores that I enjoyed walking through)

Oldest shoe

According to NY Times this is the oldest shoe EVER!! It is 5,500 years old & was found in a cave in Armenia.
"It could have fit a small man or a teenager, but was most likely worn by a woman with roughly size 7 feet." In laboratories they discovered the leather material that makes up the shoe dates back to 3653 to 3627 B.C.

The second oldest shoe is 300 years younger than this one and it was found 19 years ago on the Italian Austria border on 'Ötzi the Iceman', a mummy.

Artists at work

Graffiti artists at work. I have always wondered who the artists are and when they do their pieces. Graffiti is kind of mysterious because you don't know who does the work. So here they are, working on a wall a lot of people contribute to.
