Jordi Labanda

Jordi Labanda inspires me to do better in my illustrations. I was introduced to him when my sister gave me a gift about 5 years ago. It was a Jordi Labanda notebook that I still have today. Here is some of his awesome work.

Gift

With some of my products I have been giving a token of my gratitude by giving my client a free gift...this is one of them. I love the vintage fabric I used and leather like closure. It would be great as a change purse, travel bag, or anything the client may think of.

Tailor

This is what I tailored for my grandfather. He needed an elastic waist and most of his pants don't have elastic. This is more for practical use than fashion esthetic because he is disabled. Helping others in this way is great because this is a person's need not want.

green white

These are earrings I made this summer. They look retro but still have a modern look.

Tote Bags!

Lately I have been making bags, they are nice to make because one size fits all! I gave one to my cousin as a graduation gift, she just graduated from cosmetology school and I thought it would be great to put her hair supplies in. I embroidered her name on one side of the reversible bag and on the other side i put "I do Hair!"

The next bag I made was for my boyfriend's brother's fiance. It was also reversible with a leafy print with writing and on the other side was a solid blue with two hearts to represent the two hearts in the marriage. It was a big hit, and it looks like something Gap could sell.
I was complimented, "you made me a very happy bride-to-be". I love pleasing the people that receive the things I create. I really do believe that making something instead of buying a gift makes a difference.

Chanel

I dont think Barbie can get anymore classic and stylish when she starts wearing a haute couture clothing label like Chanel.
