Project Runway

At my school we had a fashion show called Project Runway. In no way was it affiliated with a the Bravo show. The contestants showed a three garment collection, that was judged by the Project Runway contestant Andrae Gonzalo, last year Nick Verreos judged. I was accepted to present a line. I hesitated to decline, but with limited time and academic deadlines it was the best choice for me. It was great feeling to be accepted though. I went to the show to see what was presented. Everyone had creative collections. Andrae had interesting input. To paraphrase something he said, "fashion is something catches your eye twice, and catches your eye when it comes and when it leaves." One of his favorite designers is Tom Ford. He lives in California, is a freelance designer and teaches Color and Design at FIDM Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. My friend Caitlin and I were excited to take a picture with him!
